Good news for Android smartphone lovers. Google has launched the first smartphones on its Android One platform in India on 15th September 2014.
After China and the US, India is the third largest smartphone market in the world and Google won't like to leave such a huge market.
Indian handset makers Micromax, Karbonn and Spice Mobiles will selling phones 4.5-inch display, 1GB of RAM, 5MP main and 2MP front cameras, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processors, dual-SIM slots, microSD expandable storage, and FM radios and prices will be around $105 (6399 rupees)
the smartphone models will be Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Android One Dream, and Karbonn Sparkle V
Google said it plans to expand Android One after launching in India to Indonesia, Philippines,Bangladesh,Srilanka and other South Asian countries by the end of 2014 and in more countries in 2015.
Under Android One platform Acer , HTC and Panasonic to manufacturers more devices.
